Alpacas

We breed Huacaya Alpacas which is the main type of alpaca breeding stock in Australia. Alpacas are originally from South America and are really interesting animals - they are very curious, have very strong herding instincts which makes alpacas great herd protectors for other flocks including sheep and goats, and are generally very robust animals to add to your property. They do not require a lot of space or feed, and are very quiet animals compared with other flocks, so theyʼre ideal in small acreage subdivisions. If youʼre interested in spinning, youʼll love the alpaca fleece and will be able to create beautiful knitwear from it.

We have a successful breeding program and regularly have crias (baby alpacas) born on our property, however we presently have no stock for sale.
